Bridget
I believe physical movement is the foundation to health and wellness, and Pilates is the groundwork to healthy movement. I love movement and am invigorated teaching Pilates. Using Pilates I help you challenge your boundaries and limitations. I listen to your desires and fears, expectations of me, yourself, and Pilates and I honor this quintessentially.
Additionally, human connection energizes me; I’m excited to teach one on one, in intimate group settings, and online. I’m centered around developing the best communication to guide you through the stuff I love; Pilates, mind body connection, and exposing counterproductive movements. My passion is teaching people how to move well, and I’m thrilled when clients reshape old habits and patterns.
I've owned Body Essentials Pilates since 2004, and my client base is broad. I’ve trained athletes, expectant mothers, injured and recovering, men and women 9 to 90. I've taught over 20,000 Pilates lessons. A student of Pilates for 20 plus years, I’m committed to my own education and am regularly trained by the masters at the top of the field. My experience shapes my approach. I follow the Pilates method with curiosity, proficiency and wisdom to give you a great workout, and set you up for greater health and well being. I’m captivated by movement and the human body, have an abundance of experience, and will forever be a delighted student.
